We took Hunter to the Dr. this morning for an ankle injury that has been going on for a while now. Two hours later he had a camouflage cast! He broke his growth plate on the outside of his left ankle. I am still amazed that is has taken him this long to break something! I'm hoping tomorrow he will let me take a couple of pics so we will always remember this. He will be in the cast for three weeks so he is going to miss most of his baseball season. I think he was more worried about being able to go turkey hunting with my dad this weekend though. I think they figured out a way to get him to the blind so he can still hunt! I do feel bad, however, because it has been broke for a while. The more he did baseball the worse it got...now we know why!
Bringing this blog back is so great. I love being able to jot a few things down so that we/I will remember them later on. It will help so much when I go to scrapbook this time.
I have also been working on some genealogy stuff. It is so addicting!! Right now I am focusing on Jason's family. I did solve a major mystery and it was such an awesome feeling! His 3rd great-grand-father, Joseph Thomas, was in the Civil War and he is buried in Hopewell Virginia in the City Point National Cemetery I even found what regiment and company he was in. I cannot wait to see what else I can uncover. I'm hoping to go the Genealogy Society in town on Thursday after work to do some more research. I LOVE this stuff!
